Recorder works great! I set it up between my Magic Jack and my cordless phone base. Great for holding those who call you accountable.
The value of this recorder is good. It is what I wanted but the instructions are a little too simple and don't completely explain all that is needed.

I needed a way to catch telemarketers that bugged me oncstancly to get them to take me off their list. This recorded works great has the features and memory card so if I want to save the transcription I can. Excellent product met my needs for sure.

Easy to set up, very compact.I'm using it as a call recorder (legal in my state, but not in all states) and it works great. I have a "cable TV" telephone and it's plugged into that before it goes into the house wiring. The instructions weren't perfect, but they were pretty good. I haven't tried the more advanced features.Recording quality is good, including balancing the levels so that both parties are talking at the same volume. (Not all recorders do that but it's important.) The controls aren't totally intuitive, but we are familiar to several recording devises and systems so we figured it out pretty quickly based upon other standard methods.I like that it just sits there and records automatically. Nothing to start or stop. If I need to review that call to my bank or customer service, I can. If I can't recall an address or exactly what someone said, it's there.

Seems to work fine.Took a little while to figure a few features out but otherwise a simple install!I now have Porky Pig as my answering machine message which everyone finds to be quite funny!Hopefully, the product holds up to the test of time because its really important at least to me to have phone conversations recorded especially when it involves financial or legal matters!I do find it interesting that this device displays the phone numbers even though we don't pay for call ID so that's a big bonus in my book!
This recorder has been quite helpful for me since I am hearing impaired and needed a recording device to record telephone messages that I could understand. The voices are nice and clear, much better than previous answering machines I have had. I realize this type of use is different from what it is basically designed to do and, as a result, it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles that would make it more user friendly for my use, but I can live with those limitations since I can at least understand what someone has said.
Not too many home phones these days, except for my grandma. We bought this to protect her, she answers EVERY phone call and half the time it is some sort of telemarketer. She is too nice to hang up. We wanted to hear what was being said in these calls and to make sure she wasn’t being taken advantage of. It has proven to be a life saver!

I needed a good stand alone unit that doesn't need a computer to play files and this looked like a perfect fit. It was easy to operate and super easy to play recorded calls from the machine. Because of the memory card I can keep the calls as long as I want or just delete them so it was helpful. I'm also trying to incorporate this into sound clips for a radio show so it will be super helpful.

The recorder is actually smaller than it actually looks on the picture which makes it pretty good for my desk. I have done some research on call recorders and this one comes most close to what i am looking for with the time/date and caller ID feature. It is easy to set-up and easy to use. I haven’t had any problems with it yet. I do recommend it for a phone call recorder
